Description
This valve is used with gas engine-driven compressors to save fuel and reduce engine and compressor wear by causing the engine to idle when the continuous run control reaches its cut-out setting through an air line connection to the vent unloader through a throttle control port or a head unloader line, with linkage attached to the throttle lever on the engine. At the cut-out setting, the pneumatic throttle control piston extends to push the engine's throttle lever into idle position. When it reaches cut-in pressure, the valve is vented, allowing the throttle to return to the original, full-speed position
